People around them started pointing and gossiping about the terrifying scars on Leo’s face.

Leo had long become indifferent to this chatter and had no intention of paying any attention.

But his silent and aloof demeanor was perceived by Monica as a display of self–doubt and self–pity!

The woman retorted, displaying arrogance instead of offering an apology.
